Sunrise is one of my favorite times of day, when I can drag my self out of bed. Assateague Island offers many opportunities to take sunrise pictures but none are better than across Black Duck Pool. You never know how much water will be there but there's usually enough to reflect the sun and make it interesting. Black Duck Pool is the first large pool of water on your left as you come into Assateague Island.
Most of the sunrise pictures were taken there but it always interests me how much different they are.
