These pictures are provided for use as wall paper for anyone needing a reminder of these wonderful places. I broke them out by area so there wouldn't be too much clutter on any one page. You can select the area from the menus above or from the list below.
Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park
Scenic West Virginia
If you don't know how to install the wall paper, read this. Your steps should be similar.
-
Place the cursor on an empty area of your desktop and click the right mouse button.
-
Select Properties
-
From the choices on the next menu, click on Desktop. This should show you a list of files and a thumbnail of the picture of your current desktop.
-
Click the browse button.
-
Now you need to remember where you downloaded the picture you want to use. Browse to the appropriate folder and select the file you saved when you downloaded it from the other pages.
-
Select the file you want and press OK.
-
At this point you can press OK to use the picture or you can press Apply to see what it will look like. If you press and don't like the picture, press Cancel. If you press OK and don't like the picture, you'll have to repeat this with a different one.
-
If you aren't sure which picture to download, you can tell that here too. Instead of clicking on Desktop, click on Setting. At the bottom left, there should be information about your display. It might be something like 1280 by 1024. If your number doesn't match one of the ones available for download, download one with the same ration of width to height.
