The Cass School

Here's three pictures of the Cass School.  The school in the diorama was the original and has been gone for a long time.  It was also a little further out of town than the diorama makes it appear.  This school closed in 1969.  I don't know but assume the kids were bussed to different schools in the county.  If you look, the school was quite large.  The section on the right has a cinder block building behind it.  Couldn't tell if it was a gym or class rooms.  This picture is from 2002.

Here's a look from 2007.  The left part of the school is now a rubble pile.  I don't know if it fell or was torn down.  My guess would be torn down but they don't seem to do that much in Cass.  They seem more inclined to let nature run its course.  To me, this building may not be there when we go back.
